2019 PINOT GRIGIO
Watermelon, ripe pear on the nose with lime, peach and soft oak.
This wine and its popularity over the past few years has also made it one of the Artemis wine's flag ships, sitting next to the Artemis Pinot Noir.
Again cropped low and yielding small tonnage, the concentration of stone fruit and floral citrus notes is testament to our wine making and growing techniques.
This wine is stainless steel fermented and part 10% fermented in new French Francois Frere' oak barrels. Sitting on creamy yeast lees for five months before bottling and then cellaring for four months before release.
Drinking exceptionally well now but will cellar for two to three years before becoming a more developed style for the serious lover of Pinot Grigio.
Dedication to producing fine wines is evident with recent awards such as ...
2 x Silver at the largest officially recognised wine competition in the world ''AWC Vienna'' wine challenge
Gold for the 2008 Riesling at the Australian Highlands Wine Show
Silver & Bronze at the International Riesling Challenge 2015
2 x Bronze at the International Riesling Challenge 2016

Ranked number 59/100 Best Australian Pinot Noirs,
